Information:

Rafe was born in a large Mormon family in Salt Lake City and has over 60 cousins. His family moved to Pennsylvania where he attended high school. When he graduated in 2001 his classmates voted him most likely to be a contestant on survivor.

He went on to attend Brown University in Rhode Island and studied anthropology and biology. He also ran the Brown Outstanding Leadership Training (BOLT) program. This program is designed to help expose students to wilderness experiences. He also loves to cook and runs a cooking class at Brown University.

He also loves to travel has visited all 50 United States, 14 countries and lived in Australia.

Rafe also participated in an online Survivor forum and ran an online game Survivor Sri Lanka, and is also a member of the 'Out of Bounds' comedy sketch group.
